Christmas Adam

*Christmas Adam is the day before Christmas Eve*
This morning was spent with two co-workers/good friends and their children at Gardner Village. Now, they both were excited to show me all the decorations that are displayed around the Holiday Season and granted there were some. Lyndie & Kendra were so discouraged because it was not decked out as it usually is in years past. I didn't mind because the weather was fantastic and it was good to get some Vitamin D and it gave us something to do! The snoring elf was Ty's favorite. Thank you girls! K got pics so maybe she'll teach me how to put pics on my blog! *Hint*
The rest of the day was spent in manic preparation for the next two days! And now the girls and I are going to cuddle and watch Edward ScissorHands.
Merry Christmas Adam to you.

Cousin's

Having not seen my cousin's for 15 - 20 years, I was a little nervous. Nervous? How silly. Our's was not a fairytale childhood, these few girls, now women, were the only link I had at normalcy. D was a second mom to me, L was the big sister that I idolized, and R was my knight in shining armor. Odd, maybe, but with them I was able to tolerate an icky childhood.
Now having spent an evening with them and able to renew family relations, how grateful I am to have them in my life again. What amazing women they are, what amazing lives that they have carved for themselves. I'm so proud of them. Bonds have reformed and I'm grateful for that.
